2025 Valentine's Day Cartoon Challenge Day 11
It's Day 11 of the Valentine's Day drawing challenge. Usually this time of year I try and do some new Valentine cartoons, too. But with all the snow and other things, like more snow, I am waaay behind. I did one, today. Here it is! I love drawing this Easter Bunny character, I usually draw him as a door to door salesman.

2025 Valentine's Day Cartoon Challenge Day 3 + My Mom's Birthday
Today was my Mom's birthday. She's been gone a while, and much too soon. She was the best Mom ever, always encouraging me and setting an example on what a great Mom is. She was funny, smart, sophisticated and cultured. She taught me to love theatre, movies, literature and museums. She and my Dad loved the city and from a young age, I learned to love it, too! I was allowed to read whatever I wanted, to see whatever I wanted and given art supplies when my parents saw how much I loved to draw.
I still remember how we often thought of the same things at the same time and laughed at the same things. When I brought a kitten home from the dairy farm around the block, I tried to hide it (I was maybe 5?) because I was afraid my Mom wouldn't let me keep it. Instead, she became a cat lover! We always had cats after that! Even after my brother got a German Shepherd for his birthday. That dog also loved my Mom! Everyone did!
And today's VDay drawing!
