 It's Day 8 of this year's Inktober Challenge! Here are my own drawing, the Catober and the "Official" prompt drawing.

2024 Inktober Challenge: Day 7

 Welcome to Day 7 of the 2024 Inktober Drawing Challenge!
To be clear, I am doing my own drawings for the month and also Catober and the so called "Official" Inktober prompts!

Here is my drawing for today!
I recently saw a movie called Watchers  which was a movie written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan,s daughter Ishana Night Shyamalan. It stars one of my favorites, Dakota Fanning, as an American in Ireland who has a back story and also has to deliver a parrot but gets stranded in these haunted woods and rescued, maybe, by a woman who is holed up in a safe house with a couple of other people, also trapped by these woods!  SPOILERS: there was a part that if you followed the birds, you'd find your way out of the creepy woods! It's not the best movie, ever, but, it was interesting enough as I always love a movie or series set in and around woods and forests. Who doesn't? Blair Witch set the bar for people stranded in woods. This doesn't set any bars, but worth a watch, I think.

And wrapping things up, the Inktober prompt. This is part of that boring camping /travel theme, so I "Halloween-ized" it a bit!

2024 Inktober Challenge: Day 6

 

Day 6 of the 2024 Inktober Drawing Challenge! My drawing is based on the Invisible Man. Of course the H.G. Wells book was excellent, but the 1930s film starring Claude Rains was one of my favorites, because Claude Rains was one of the movie Greats, and that voice! After my drawing I included a clip of Claude Rains as the Invisible Man from that film, followed by a couple of pics of Joyce and I at the NH Cemetery where Claude Rains is buried!

A couple of years ago, Joyce and I made a pilgrimage to Claude Rains grave which happens to be in NH, of all places!

Now for the Catober and the Inktober Prompt drawings!

 Happy Inktober Drawing Challenge Day 5! I've been having fun , at least with my own drawings. And up for the challenge of making the most I can of the Catober and Official Inktober Prompt drawings!

 Can it really be October already? How could the summer goby so quickly? It is still always summer in my heart! Anyway, here are the 3, yes 3, Inktober drawings for Day 1.

Kim Seon Ho's Movie Anniversary!

 Wow! It was a year ago that Kim Seon Ho's debut movie, The Childe, was released! I am so glad I made the trip to see it on the big screen! Thanks to Nico and Jeremiah for sharing the adventure! And it was wonderful meeting sister Seonhohada Gina S. Mowrey at the theater and for coffee afterwards!

By the way, you can now buy the Blu-ray or stream it on Viki and other platforms!
