Christmas 2014

So, it's been a while since the last post. We ended up without power through Thanksgiving so had a pie fest and wine brought over by good friends, instead of the traditional traditions. Nico and I did get our annual viewing of Muppet Family Christmas in, as well as our fabulous Friday shopping and annual movie going (Mockingjay pt. 1) so it was a fun time despite the lack of that miracle discovery known as electricity and the evilness of trees, which, as we all know, thanks to Gwyneth Paltrow's immortal SNL performance, are the Devil (as, apparently, are Rainforests!). Moving on... to the next holiday, it is almost Christmas. So, in celebration, here is my 2014 Christmas card split up into panels. Over the next couple of days I hope to post two surprises. Meantime, wishing you all a Merry, Merry and a Happy, Happy!

Happy night before Thanksgiving! It is seriously snowing here (drat!) but the shopping for tomorrow is all finished... after a quick trip to Rite Aid. Though the following cartoon might apply to many cooks preparing for their big family dinners!

Today it was 60 degrees! My kind of Thanksgiving weather. There is also a weather advisory saying SNOW! Hopefully it will blow out to sea... or to Buffalo.
